Vida Mejor Poolside is situated at Lot 20 Jamestown Park, Holetown St. James, Barbados and is one of two townhouse style , two bedroom villas in a duplex building design by local architect Adrian Forde of Archis Design Group Inc ( Bajan Architects) . Each villa in the duplex was design for individual privacy. So each have separate entrances from the main road, separate off road parking, separate gardens, separate pools and decks. Poolside is the first rot iron entrance gate as you walk up the street. This duplex building where this villa is situated was constructed in 2001 and its first customer booked in that year to return and stay for the month of February the following year (2002) even before the building was finished. Quite a remarkable story it is, not only because it was reserved before it was completed but also because that same customer has continued to visit Barbados every February and stay in this same villa ever-since 2002 up to the time of publishing this article!! (December 2016). This villa has its pool and deck on the East side of the building, so it typically gets sun from early in the morning until about 3:30 to 4:00 pm, when the sun goes behind the building. (as a tropical country13 degrees north of the equator, Barbados sees the sun rising around 6:00 am and setting 6:00 pm give and take a few minutes either side. This is the pattern all year round.
